Investing in the Future...

Event Information

The 2024 Chattanooga Gala of Hope, an annual black tie fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, has been part of the Chattanooga community for over twenty years. This year we are mixing it up so our 2024 gala guests can temporarily set aside their formal attire (but have it ready for 2025) because this year, guests will experience an elevated concert with the YACHT ROCK REVUE.  Guests will enjoy all the typical components of our gala while experiencing an elevated concert at the Chattanooga Westin.  We hope you will join us as we embark on a vintage cruise you will miss want to miss! Pull out your best vintage concert cocktail attire as we embark on a cruise afloat a yacht as we cruise alongside cancer patients in our community who have embarked upon their own journey with cancer. The needs for those in their fight with cancer has never been greater so our mission for the evening of the 25th we will address those cancer patients in need in our community by raising funds to provide navigational resources, transportation to treatment, lodging for those in need of overnight lodging locally and nationally.

The American Cancer Society may be a national organization, but addressing the needs of patients in our community is part of what we do.  With a mission to end cancer as we know it, research has and continues to be a focus for the American Cancer Society.  The Gala of Hope is a way to invest in the future for those in their fight with cancer.  Giving to the American Cancer Society of Chattanooga you are investing in the future for those in their fight and providing HOPE for a future free from cancer.

Together we can provide many more tomorrows and HOPE for those who need us most. Join us Friday, October 25th as we celebrate HOPE for the Future and a cure for cancer.

Our Mission

Mission Funding: Hope Lodge

Since 1946, the American Cancer Society has supported researchers at pivotal points in their career – to give them the support they need to keep great research going or to take their ideas from dream to reality. The American Cancer Society is proud to have helped more than 24,000 investigators make important advances in prevention, early detection, treatment, and care for those with cancer. In fact, 50 of those investigators have gone on to win the Nobel Prize, considered the highest accolade any scientist can receive. As the largest private not-for-profit, non-governmental funder of cancer research in the US, the American Cancer Society has played a role in many of the major cancer research breakthroughs of the last century.
